Greetings, future guild member!

You’ve likely discovered us through a forum, Discord, or a personal invite.
Allow me to clarify our guild’s mission.

We’re establishing a community for gamers dissatisfied with the current player and DM matchmaking system. Despite today’s digital age, there’s no efficient way to assemble a good, long-lasting group. We aim to change that for those who share our vision. Meet Jack, the epitome of our ideal member:

Character
  • Jack struggles to maintain a fixed play schedule due to other commitments.
  • He doesn’t want to upset or disrespect peers by altering plans.
  • He values his time and expects others to do the same.
  • Jack seeks escapism in games, avoiding real-world issues at the table.
  • He respects diverse opinions and avoids game table conflicts.
  • Jack desires a platform to find games fitting his unpredictable schedule.

This mission began from challenges we faced in our own group.

We play bi-weekly with 4 players and 1 DM

One absence at best can strain the session, at its worst the session is postponed. Delays between postponed sessions can also lead to waning interest in the campaign overall or the dreaded scheduling spiral of death.

With the various schedules of our group, the epic campaign is simply impractical at present

This sparked a broader idea:  Shorter, episodic scenarios, where it may only take one or two sessions could allow flexible participation if a large player pool was available.

Imagine a world where you can play when your schedule allows, without the need of a group, and play the same character (if you choose).
